Pathfinder Manufacturing offers more than high-quality machining services. We also offer hope.

Pathfinder Manufacturing is a social enterprise nonprofit manufacturing company that provides precision machining, fabrication, and assembly of high-reliability components to a wide range of commercial and governmental sectors, including aerospace, space, marine, automotive, defense, agriculture, medical, and energy. We are proudly ISO 9001/2015 and AS9100D certified, belong to the Boeing Premier Bidder Program, and hold a START safety certification from The Washington Department of Labor and Industries.

Pathfinder launched its first shop in 1991, operating out of a rented building in South Everett, WA.

In September of 2013, we opened a second location in Mukilteo, WA, boosting our machining capabilities with the addition of two Haas 4 axis Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machines. In August, 2016, we further expanded our operations, moving to a 40,000-square-foot facility in Everett, WA. This move allowed us to consolidate our two operations in Mukilteo and provided the space to acquire two additional CNC machines, as well as greatly increasing our capacity for both wire and hard parts assembly.

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization

Since our humble beginnings, our student learning program has enabled at-risk and disadvantaged high school students to learn valuable technical skills and earn strong employment experience in the manufacturing industry, offering them the hope of a brighter future. As our company has grown, so has our celebrated student learning program: while our first cohort was made up of just eight students, we now offer training to approximately 100 students annually.
